COP26 ran from October 31st - November 12th 2021 in Glasgow. These conferences have a long history of making empty promises but this year, with the climate crisis looming larger than ever, it was disturbing to see that there was no mention of animal agriculture - what many are now calling ‘the cow in the room’. Along with other environmental and social justice groups, we took to the streets on the Global Day for Climate Justice, November 6th 2021, to demand a just transition to a Plant-Based Food System.
